The Free Mini-Course: Test Our Approach

You're about to see exactly how we work

In this 4-6 hour self-paced course, you and your teen will:

✓  Learn how to read literature like an analyst (not just a reader)

✓  Understand what rigorous thinking actually looks like

✓  See what strong analysis paragraphs contain—and why

✓  Get expert feedback on your teen's first writing attempt

✓  Recognize the difference between surface-level and deep thinking

By the end of week 1, your teen will have a stronger understanding of how to organize and write an analysis paragraph

More importantly: you'll have confidence about what you're looking for. No more guessing.

What's Inside:

  • "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe (PDF for easy annotation + audio)

  • Video lessons on

    • historical context and relevant author background

    • close reading through annotation

    • writing analysis paragraphs

  • Parent guide with exemplars, rubrics, and what "good" actually looks like

  • Expert feedback on your teen's writing

Once your student submits the final paragraph: You'll schedule a brief call with me where we discuss what you learned, review the writing sample, and explore whether our fall cohort is the right fit for your family.
